Day 317
Day 315
What's the matter, you've never seen a red, white and blue* buffalo before? My favorite part is that it's, um, anatomically correct. This is a streetcorner sculpture in OKC, made of fiberglass, that I noticed while wandering around trying to find a mailbox.
*Nikki- notice the lack of Harvard comma. Took all my willpower.
Day 314
It's definitely springtime in Oklahoma. This is a Bradford pear, one of the few that didn't get destroyed during the December ice storm.

Day 312
Easter in Cranesville. Yee-Haw. Here are the boys hangin' out. My pops and Chris, and a fire, of course (edit: and beer). The sad part is that we waited for it to start snowing before we built the fire. And that there's a house about a hundred yards away. On the plus side, we got the fire started Survivorman style.

Day 305
I was going to have T-Shirts made for St. Patrick's Day, but then I realized they charge per letter.
Day 304
Thank goodness Stu's always there when it gets down to bedtime and I realize I haven't taken a picture. He's handsome, as always, but if I had waited until today to snap a picture his hair clumps would be gone.
Day 301
I was trying to get a picture of the nice sunset, but this is the best I could do without wrecking my car.
Day 300
I took a similar picture a week or two ago, but I don't think I used it. There's just something odd about all the floating stars of david. (woohoo, day 300!)
Day 298
Last of a dying breed. There's still a smoking lounge at Will Rogers World Airport. (and at Atlanta Hartsfield, Dulles, and a couple of others) Some of the old reliables are gone, though. (Charlotte, Pittsburgh)

Day 297
These are horses hitched to a rail outside OKC's children's hospital. They belong to a man named Ezra Cooley, who is currently riding around the world. He came in to do a media event with sick kids and raise money for kids' charities.

Day 292
This is a traditional nautical chart of the Marshall Islands. The sticks represent currents and prevailing winds, while the shells represent islands. I snuck a surreptitious picture of it at the MFA.
Day 291
This picture is meant to illustrate the worst haircut in the world. It's uneven on top, crooked in the back, and (worst of all, in my opinion) the barber shaved my sideburns up a good half inch above where I keep them. There's an excuse for almost everything that might go wrong with a haircut, but how can you decide to just shave off a half-inch of sideburns that I obviously don't shave every morning? I look like an asshole now, and I have to travel next week.
