Day 262

This rubber ducky is my friend. He's modeled for me before.

Day 261

This is a picture I happened to take of my breakfast. I would later discover mealworms in it, but not until I ate all but the last two bites.

Day 260

Every once in a while, I get the feeling that I may not be so hideous after all.

Day 259

He was being cute a second before I took this.

Day 258

Our much-delayed luggage. Between this suitcase and my Oklahoma suitcase, I had plenty of laundry.

Day 257

It's frightening how often the library is the highlight of my week.

Day 256

Since I only took 227 pictures in Puerto Rico this year, I guess I didn't need to buy this extra card.

Day 255

This is the awesome fun that was waiting for me when I booted up my computer this morning. I printed off some "helpful" documents from microsoft. Looks like I get to learn all about windows recovery console when I get home tonight.

Day 254

Enjoying my last few minutes in Puerto Rico.

Day 253

This is San Juan as seen from Cataño, across the harbor.

Day 252

This is the boat coming to take us away from our (almost) private (almost) island.

Day 251

This is the view from our hotel room window.

Day 249

Snow covered landscape, somewhere between dallas and boston.

Day 248

This picture was basically an accident, but I think the foreground and background colors are pretty together.

Day 247

This is my office at the hospital in Oklahoma. It has a door.

Day 246

This is OUMC, my hospital in Oklahoma. It's huge.

Day 245

Chicago O'Hare is very serious about informing you where you can and can't smoke. By standing to the right of this line, I was fine.

Day 244

Taking a picture of the pinhole taking a picture of the sunset.

Day 243

This is the carwash from the inside. I was embarrassingly excited to take these pictures.

Day 242

What a bland and uninteresting sky.

Day 241

See how excited I get in the morning?

Day 240

This is my newly redesigned rewinding mechanism on my pinhole camera. As with the rest of the camera, it's a high-tech device, consisting of an (almost) empty film cartridge and a hunk of Bic pen. I got some pictures developed today. I'll post a link after I get them scanned.

Day 239

This is a bird's nest, with a roof and a door.

Day 238

I got pictures of both sunrise and sunset today. Sunset was pretty, but taken on the highway, and thus fairly boring. So you get sunset from the smoking patio at work.

Day 237

This blog is now on its fifth camera. This one's a Canon SD1000. For its first post, why not show off the other four. From left to right...
1. Razor cameraphone (example here)
2. Olympic 1.3 megapixel brick (see here)
3. Sony Cyber-shit (like this)
4. Cardboard pinhole camera (so far just this one)
My Sony crapped the bed, and getting it repaired seems daunting. So I got a new one.

Day 236

I may have ruined the moment by telling the crazy lady to go fuck herself.

Day 235

I often run out of things to photograph. Instead of another picture of my cat, here is the knife block that came free with my Thanksgiving kit. Still haven't found anyone to give it to.

Day 234

It turns out that heated mattress pads are an incredible invention.

Day 233

Puerto Rico is coming up fast!

Day 232

This rack of ribs was one of the best things I've ever created with charcoal.

Day 231

There comes a point when saying "I have a hole in my sock" is no longer descriptive enough.

Day 230

...then I fought the router people all day the next. (actually, the router people were very helpful, it's just more dramatic this way.)

Day 229

I fought the modem people all day one day...

Day 228

I found this much beloved album in the bottom of a box.

Day 227

27 mpg. Better than last time.
