Day 347
We went to the Sheep Shearing Festival in Waltham today. There were minutemen, crafts, food, animals... And to top it all off, a border collie demonstration. They herded sheep, goats, and ducks. The ducks are every bit as funny as you'd expect.
Day 346
This is the chart that kept me at work until 9pm. Then kept me awake until 3am. Then kept me working on Saturday afternoon. If the brass wants me to create an executive dashboard, they should really give me the right software to do it with.

Day 345
You'd never notice the trees in our work parking lot during any other season, but they sure are pretty when they bloom.
Day 343
I got a universal remote Sunday night to go with my new receiver setup. Now I don't know how I ever lived without it.
Day 342
Even though my commute takes me across the route of the Boston Marathon, I was minimally affected this year. I went past before the barriers went up. On the way home, I followed the route for a few blocks. You've never seen so many discarded plastic cups.
Day 341
This is a maple tree near the Watertown public pool. I think this shot looks like a classic Chinese watercolor of cherry blossoms.
Day 339
I wish this picture had turned out better (digital point-and-shoots seem to have difficulty at night). There's a beautiful view of the Boston skyline from the top level of the Terminal B parking structure at Logan.
Day 337
I didn't realize that the patriotic buffalo I noticed a few weeks ago has this hippie cousin just down the street. Again, life-sized fiberglass.

Day 336
There's this whole riverwalk deal in OKC, with scenery, restaurants, a boat tour, etc. When I was here in the winter I thought it was odd that there was no water in the river. Today I discovered the source of the river, which appears to be this drain under the train tracks. Calling it a river appears to be a bit of a stretch, since it's concrete, ten feet wide, and drained during cold weather.
Day 335
This is a crazy indoor rainforest in OKC. It's in a giant glass tube in the botanical gardens here. There were lots of plants I recognized from Hawaii and Puerto Rico. I enjoyed it until they kicked me out.

Day 333
This is a true rarity. Photos of Nikki are few and far between. I had to use subterfuge and ambush to snap this one.
Day 331
This is a good old end of the world novel. Some of the racial themes used to make me uncomfortable, but now I think it's surprisingly progressive at times. I mean, for a book written by a white Floridian in 1959.
Day 330
They handed out new ID lanyards at work this week, and I thought to myself, "This situation just cries out for... flair!!"

Day 322 (oops!)
Day 326
Myrtle the turtle lives at the New England Aquarium. We went with Nikki's aunt and cousins. I got to see sharks, and fishes, and (my favorite) penguins!!
Day 324
I stumbled across this arroyo behind a Walmart in OKC. It seems like it would belong in LA more than Oklahoma.
Day 323
The National Street Rod Association was having a big get together in OKC, so my hotel's parking lot was full of cool cars.
