Day 142

Just the other day, Nikki and I were commenting on a yummy restaurant in our neighborhood. We were of the opinion that they needed a better sign to let people know they were there. They sit a little bit off the beaten path, and their budweiser sign was easy to miss. Well lo and behold, today I drive by and they have a sweet new sign. It's almost as if we willed it to happen.

Day 141

8 hours, 800 dollars, and two potential criminal charges later, lesson learned: When you move, be sure to cross the Ts and dot the Is, and for the love of god don't forget to pay your excise tax.

This is Reckart's Mill, from the 1860s. My father and I used to live next door to it.

Day 138

This is Cranesville, West Virginia. It's my hometown, and home to about 35 people right now. That's a record in recent years.

Day 136

I took this because I swore I'd be leaving work at 5:30 sharp, yet here I am pulling out at 6:52.
