Day 129
I absolutely hate commuting. I wish I could walk to the office. This is the rotary at exit 17 on the pike, where galen st, center st, and washington st cross I-90. It's always a nightmare.
Day 126
We tried to go suit shopping on Sunday, but the super-discount menswear store was closed. While I was waiting for Nikki I noticed this VW loitering in the public lot, waiting for someone to leave so he could park. If he had pulled up six more feet, he would have realized that there was a free space hidden behind an SUV.

Day 119
On the road again
headed back out on that road again
I can't wait to be training meditech with my friends
Lord, I can't wait to be on the road again
Tomorrow morning I head out for Muskogee, Oklahoma. Watch this space for announcements regarding other potential Oklahoma travel opportunities (nudge nudge, wink wink).

Day 114
Since we've been shuffling everything around, this corner has ended up looking pretty darn nice again. Not bad, if I do say so myself.
Day 112
Nikki and I went on a nice Sunday stroll along the river. This spot is beautiful and peaceful. It would be great for a picnic. Unlike the spot a few hundred yards up where we stopped to feed the ducks. Goddamn ducks. They're nothing but web-footed hooligans.

Day 111
Yes, that's a bird in our kitchen. The cardboard that blocks the open area next to one of the air conditioners came loose. This bird came in through the gap and wreaked havoc in our household. Pooping in the kitchen, hiding behind the wine rack, flying around to avaid capture. Finally, I snuck up on it while it was perched on a basket. I kept down out of sight and slowly, oh so glacially slowly, moved the basket in front of the window. My theory was that if it couldn't see me, it would think the movement was something akin to a branch swaying in the breeze. Of course, the stupid thing first tried to fly out through the closed half of the window, but after some prodding with the basket and a mop, it found the opening and escaped.
Did I mention that all of this happened before my first cup of coffee? Well, it did.
